Back when i was an awkward, unemployed student making music in my spare time for limited audiences, i began to put together song notes to help unpack the processes and motives behind the songs so the uninitiated could have a context to anchor their ears in. So much has changed since those days (for example, i'm employed, and...um, well, maybe not that much has changed), but i still enjoy putting together song notes. i'm changing things a bit this time around, so read this to get up to speed.
